About
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Indiana University Bloomington, advised by Prof. Haixu Tang. Before coming to Indiana, I received an M.Sc. in Information Technology from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a B.Eng. in Communication Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
My research focuses on time series forecasting for vital signals such as the electrocardiogram (ECG). I conduct large-scale empirical studies to characterize the generalization and long-horizon extrapolation behavior of modern sequence architectures on physiological data, with the broader goal of developing reliable foundation models for healthcare. I also maintain broader interests in multimodal representation learning and large language models.
Earlier in my Ph.D., I worked on the security and privacy of real-world systems, from mobile software supply chains to robotic vehicles, with publications at ACM CCS, USENIX Security, and ICRA. I am always happy to chat about research — feel free to reach out.
